Monochromatic Design using glass jar(s) as a container. Glass jars provided by the committee. Designs staged on 8' x 36” tall rectangular tables, draped to the floor with black cloth. Class limited to provisional members of The Garden Club of Houston. Design must be brought to the show completed and may not exceed 12” in diameter and 18” in height. Class may be subdivided into subclasses for judging. Viewed and judged from 3 sides.
*Educational Note: Monochromatic Design is a design incorporating plant material of just one color, inlcuding shades and tints of the hue. A small amount of green foliage is allowed with the chosen color, small bits of attached non- conforming floral parts are permitted e.g., the yellow center of a purple aster.
